Colleges and Dorms

Lets keep our students safe.

Most colleges are now requiring that add-on items in dorm rooms (such as bed lofts or shelving units) be treated with flame retardant. In most cases they want Class 'A'.

What they are missing, in most instances, is the treatment of the curtains and drapes. Remember, most fires start with the furnishings, then extend to the structure. If every room in the dorm had then everybody would be safe from fire.

Treat all the fabric in the room; curtains, drapes, dust ruffle on the bed, futon or whatever fabric furniture you have.

Now that flame retardants are required, get complete safety,  from one place
